I don’t care. I don’t mind. Unless it is doing its platform on my intentions, my operating system was merely a comparison of cellphone models to me. I had them since dos to leopard. 95, 98, 2000, xp, vista, fedora, mac, etc. The evolution is unstoppable. Now who’s next? As a blogger, the internet is very important to me, might as well as you. Internet is power, with it, accessibility is immeasurable. Everything is possible. I have been thinking on how to maximize the potential of my computer to its full capability to be a quick, one-click one-the-go power tool and as I have heard, read, and watch the news, I am pretty convinced that the answer is coming soon on the second half of 2010. The Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at net books. It is an OS that is focused on users who want to easily access the net. As people use more and more web applications, the operating system becomes less important and it makes no sense to pay for it so Google focused on optimizing an operating system for browsing. Quite convenient isn’t it? With this OS, you can easily access your emails and other internet related things with just a few seconds! Did you know that Google Chrome OS will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips? Also, all web-based applications will automatically work and new applications can be written using your favorite web technologies. These apps will run not only on Google Chrome OS, but on any standards-based browser on Windows, Mac and Linux thereby giving developers the largest user base of any platform. Personally, It is a great advantage to me if I would no longer wait for my notebook to boot which is time consuming as well as the loading of the browser. But how about those users who are not focused on using the net like, writers, offline gamers, movie watchers etc? How will Google chrome convince them to use their new project? Can Google Chrome reduce the 90% windows users worldwide? Who knows? I’m just telling news.
